Learners will learn about South Africa's employment landscape, including sector opportunities, valued skills, hiring processes, and legal compliance for career advancement.

The Organisation of Work
Learners will comprehend working environments, use planning tools for time management and task prioritization. Adjusting work plans, reporting deadlines, and seeking assistance if needed.

Concepts Related to the Employee’s Performance of Work
Learners will understand KPI systems, goal setting, and appraisal methods. Carrying out performance conversations, conflict resolution, decision-making, designing goals, and targets.

Employer Organisations
Learners will understand the history and role of employer organizations in various sectors, legal frameworks, and labour relations laws. Proficient and practical skills in negotiation, conflict resolution, and leadership.

External Environments in Which Organisations Operate
Learners will understand the external environment and factors impacting businesses, such as economics, politics, laws, society, and technology, and how to navigate these factors.
