1. Introduction

  1. The Promotion of Access to Information Act, 2 of 2000, was enacted on 3 February 2000, giving effect to the constitutional right of access to information held by the State and private bodies necessary for exercising or protecting rights.
  2. In terms of section 51 of PAIA, every private body is required to compile a manual outlining the types of records held by such a body and how they can be accessed. This manual provides information on records held by 360 Business Consulting (Pty) Ltd, including records related to training and individuals trained by the company.
  3. 360 Business Consulting (Pty) Ltd is a consulting company specialising in marketing coordination, business support, financial consultancy, and professional training services.

4. Records available in terms of other legislation

  1. In addition to records held in terms of PAIA, 360 Business Consulting (Pty) Ltd maintains records in accordance with the following legislation (where applicable):

  1. 360 Business Consulting (Pty) Ltd holds records for providing consulting services, business advisory functions, and training services.

8. Training information and records of individuals trained

  1. As part of its consulting and advisory services, 360 Business Consulting (Pty) Ltd provides training to clients and employees. The following records are available concerning training services:

9. Grounds for refusal of access to records

  1. PAIA provides that requests for access to certain records may be refused based on the following grounds:
    1. Protection of personal information of a third party
    2. Protection of commercial information of a third party
    3. Protection of confidential information of third parties
    4. Protection of the safety of individuals and property

10. Procedure for requesting access to information

  1. Any person who wishes to request access to information held by 360 Business Consulting (Pty) Ltd must complete the prescribed Form C and submit it to the Information Officer at the contact details provided in Section 2.
  2. The request must include the following information:
    1. The requester’s contact details
    2. The form of access required
    3. The right to be exercised or protected
    4. An explanation of why the record is required

11. Fees payable

  1. A requester is required to pay a request fee and, if the request is granted, an access fee for the reproduction, search, and preparation of the records, as stipulated in PAIA.
  2. The Information Officer will inform the requester of the applicable fee (if any) before processing the request.

12. Availability of the manual

  1. This manual is available for inspection, free of charge, at the offices of 360 Business Consulting (Pty) Ltd, and copies are available on the company website.
